Come and relax at Rest-a-While Cottage. This home has been fully renovated and updated with attention to details that preserve the charm of a classic Cape May Point cottage. Home is located just 3 blocks to beautiful St. Petes Beach and walking distance to the lighthouse and the miles of nature trails in Cape May Point State Park. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath beach home sleeps 8. The first-floor features a new kitchen with gas stove, full size French door refrigerator, dishwasher, and large stainless-steel sink. The dining area seats six to ten. Serving meals from kitchen to table is made easy with the wide pass through above the kitchen sink. The first-floor bedroom offers a queen size futon bed and direct access to the bathroom with a tile shower. The downstairs bath can also function as a jack and jill bath with a separate entrance door off the kitchen. The sitting room at the front of the house has a double futon sofa that sleeps 2. Take the spiral staircase up to the second floor, where you will find the primary bedroom, bathroom, and the washer and dryer. This private bedroom has a queen size bed. The bathroom features a jetted tub with shower. The third bedroom is located in the detached bunkhouse in the backyard and has a queen size bed with air conditioning and heat. The backyard is spacious with a dining area with seating. There is an enclosed outdoor shower. Guest is allowed one dog, 40 pounds or less, for an additional pet fee. Yard is Not fenced in. Street parking is very easy on the street with no meters.

Summary: We always enjoy our June vacations to the Point. We always utilized local realtors. This year Vrbo seemed to be our only option for a home to accommodate us and our family dog. Vrbo utilized long & foster to take our request. We struggled with communication, and our rental was occupied upon our arrival. The owners did their best to expedite our access to the home. Rushed cleaning, etc. We did receive our deposit so we assume the owners found their home in order, after our departure. The Deans.
