Welcome to Sidari, named after my favorite place in Greece, on the island of Corfu . The views are big open views of the bay.
sidari is a sparkling white floating home with blissful sunlight streaming through all of the windows with a slight african, tropical flare in the decor
walk onto the new front deck which boasts a comfy wooden table, chairs and umbrella for your afternoon tea or champagne cocktails My lush garden of flowers give you privacy on your deck.
enter the french door to the wide open floor-plan sidari has to offer Glistening white kitchen cabinets, new cafe style black and tan rattan chairs and bar stools with a round black wooden table. Four can eat comfortably at the table and 2 can eat at the bar.
the kitchen is stocked with anything a cook like you would want The pot set is new as well as the silverware and many other utensils. Start up that blender for fresh margaritas or scoop the fresh French roast coffee left for you into the French press and have an afternoon snack. Dishes and mugs and glasses are also new.
the large kitchen opens to the charming living room with sweeping views of the deep water and a glimpse of san francisco at high tide
***sidari is located in a deep- water berth which is very important if you want beautiful views and easy access to kayaking Not all floating homes are in deep water.***
the living room features a corner fireplace, ceiling fan and fabulous water views The smart TV is atop the fireplace. One window is floor to ceiling with views of the bay. Another window is a garden window also with stunning bay views.
there is a bar area with 2 bottles of napa valley wine just waiting for you to pop the cork We always leave some snacks for you to enjoy with your wine.
walk through the second french door to the sprawling back deck on the bay....
the back deck is fitted with 2 outdoor seats, a love seat and a coffee table on one side plus a table chairs and umbrella on the other side eat most of your meals on the deck and watch the many boats and sea lions go by or just get some sun on the loveseat!
the private boat dock boasts 2 sit on kayaks and life jackets just for you It is easy access to get on and off the kayaks.
2 bicycles are attached to the railing for your use also
glide down the newly carpeted staircase to the 2 bedrooms and 1 beautiful bath
downstairs is very cool on those warm summer days
the full bath features a shower over tub with new shower heads and shower curtains
the vanity features a new faucet with great water pressure and a new exotic mirror
all towels are new and fluffy!
this bathroom is designed with an artist styled rock floor made of individual smooth stones fitted together (feels scrumptious on your feet)
our primary bedroom features a king captain's bed with a lush bamboo mattress everyone who stays on sidari loves the mattress……
800 thread count sheets are used along with down pillows and 100 per cent cotton duvet covers An extra brand new cotton quilt is also available just in case you get chilly.
a smart tv with cable is located inside the armoire
fireplace number 2 graces the corner of the bedroom for those chilly or simply romantic nights
gaze at the bay or the fire as you fall asleep and wake up to the sunrise (southern exposure)
the second bedroom offers a trundle bed that sleeps 2 comfortably also with elegant bedding There is a large closet and yet another TV. 2 Children or a couple would be very comfortable here.
down on the boat dock we offer 2 kayaks with life jackets We also have 2 bicycles on board.
sausalito is filled with restaurants 7 of them are in walking distance to the floating home.
in the summer, there are free friday night concerts at the ferry terminal park I have 2 festival chairs for you on board so you can attend the concerts comfortably. We also have beach towels for you in case you want to drive to Stinson or Muir Beach.
warm weather concerts often happen on the bay, performed by local musicians on the boat docks of our homes Water access is the way to go and you will be moments away and invited to all concerts.
osteria divino is a superb italian restaurant offering live music most evenings It is just a 5 minute drive away.
the no name bar is a short drive or uber ride away and has live music several evenings a week It's a very fun venue.
there is wine tasting at bacchus and venus on the main avenue and vodka tastings at hanson’s gallery These are located downtown Sausalito just a few miles away.
a favorite activity for guests is strolling the different flower covered docks and watching the many species of birds that we have here
the neighbors will be friendly Feel free to strike up a conversation. you never know who you might meet? we are an eclectic bunch of people who have a good zest for life!
a harbor seal might just pop up and look at you while you are having breakfast on the back deck Please do not feed the seagulls or geese though. They need to eat what they normally eat to be healthy and thrive.
once you stay here you will never want to leave so you might as well book 2 months instead of one (my husband might even take you for a ride in his boston whaler if you ask him nicely)
we love our life here and are happy to help you with any tour bookings or restaurant ideas We live around 20 homes away.I have a book at the property also with many menus and ideas for activities.
the wine country is only 30 minutes away and so worth a trip I can help you choose wineries if you want some advice.
