On one side of the house is the seasonal creek, with impressive gigantic bamboo and numerous trees, including an iconic redwood. On the other side of the house is a smaller garden area that showcases some of the owners' own ceramic sculpture and vegetable garden. Behind the house there is an intimate patio with comfortable seating, an outdoor dining table for six surrounded by flowers, herbs, and trees including a fig, apple, and pear.

mill valley is just north of the golden gate bridge and sausalito, in marin county at the foot of mt Tamalpais. The mountain bike was invented right here by cyclists who wanted to climb that mountain. It's easy to get to San Francisco by car, by bus, or by ferry from Sausalito. The house is also just a short drive away from lovely beaches, including Muir Beach and Stinson Beach, the huge Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and the world-famous California Wine Country.
