this serene one-bedroom apartment with private entry is situated at the end of a long, tree lined driveway on a large, 2/3 acre property nestled into the sausalito hills It occupies the lower floor of a private home whose upper floor is occupied by owner. Recently renovated and fully furnished, it looks out on greenery and large established trees, with views of the bay and Mt. Tamalpais. The unit embodies privacy and quiet, yet is walking distance to public transportation and downtown Sausalito: 1 mile to the ferry service, and just a few blocks to bus lines, the Caledonia Street shops and downtown Sausalito restaurants and shops. It is also minutes from various hiking trails in the area: Marin Headlands, Tennessee Valley, Muir Woods.
the location is also optimal for travel to desirable destinations both north and south: 2 minutes to the spencer ave/montemar drive entrance to highway 101, 5 minutes to the golden gate bridge, 20 minutes to most of san francisco’s main attractions, and 40 minutes to the sonoma/napa wine country
