Positive: The inside was beautifully remodeled recently. Very spacious and included all the amenities you could think of. The inside has been taken care of cleaning wise, which is very evident when you enter the front door. There are still a few items that need to be updated, which would make it near perfect.
Negative: Upon arriving at the property is very noticeable the disrepair the outside is. Fortunately, when entering the front door, you can see the difference there. Some of the smaller items inside that need attention would be the master bedroom needs to have darkening window covers in place. With the sunrise in the morning and throughout the early part of the day, it is very bright in that room and warms up very quickly. Actually, the window coverings throughout the home with the exception of the front two bedrooms need to be replaced. Better coverings on the sliding doors I’m sure it would save energy from sunrise to the better part of the afternoon and helping keep the inside cool. Another item would be the exhaust fan in the guest bathroom does not operate. There was instruction included about the hose being left in the pool which upon arrival it was not. Had my own pool in the past. I know what an automatic fill is and I easily located that to know that the water is being replenished there and not through the hose. The older dirty car with flat tires is really an eyesore going into the garage to do laundry, and we were having to use that as an entrance exit because of the sliding glass doors on the backside of the house are nearly impossible to operate. It is obvious they are in severe disrepair, and I think add a huge liability for the owner if those were to ever fall and hit somebody or the glass shattering injuring somebody. I was really taken back by that one item alone. actually three items because there are three sliding glass doors on the backside of the house all in the same condition. Unfortunately, the weather was less than perfect with the Gail force wins, blowing through the valley and a lot of flying debris, which cloud the pool and was plugging the drain and skimmer. I did try and keep those clear so the pump would not overheat.
Summary: A great stay with my friends in one of my favorite vacation spots in a property that has incredible potential.
