imagine walking in the front door and seeing a picture window with a full beach view in front of you! our building 1 condo is so close to the beach that you can hear the sounds of the surf sitting on our lanai the beach is just steps away!
the beach retreat is the perfect getaway spot - our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo is set up with privacy in mind with bedrooms at opposite ends of the condo This makes it easy for 2 couples to vacation together or for families to have room to spread out. The primary bedroom offers a King size bed while the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and bunk beds so we can sleep up to 6 people.

sanibel is a nature sanctuary - nature surrounds you, no high rise buildings block the view of the courtyard, beach or water The beach and pool are just a short walk from our condo. Guests will find beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella, sand toys, a beach tote and cooler for their use while staying in The Beach Retreat. We have a local property manager that can quickly address any needs or concerns.

the island has miles of bike paths to follow and 2 good golf courses (the dunes & beachview) There are fishing charters out of both the Sanibel and the Captiva Marinas. During Spring Training, you can take in a Boston Red Sox or Minnesota Twins game in Ft Myers.
sanitization - we have added a uv light system to our aair exchanger to kill bacteria and viruses in the air and our housekeeper has implemented additional cleaning and sanitizing procedures Check in and check out can be done without human contact too.
loggerhead was hit by hurricane ian but we celebrated our grand reopening on feb 5., 2024. All major building repairs are done, the pool has reopened and the pickleball and tennis courts are ready for play. You can book your court time ahead of time or just show up and join a pick up game with the racquets we provide our guests. Shuffleboard is open play.
lap swimmers- loggerhead has set aside 8-9 am. and 4-5 p.m. as adults only swim times. All children must be accompanied by an adult at the pool, at all times.
pickleball & tennis - a court sign-up sheet is available by the courts You can check out pickleball equipment at the Loggerhead office.

This is the perfect place to relax, unwind and make wonderful memories. the location also puts you a short drive from the causeway so it is a quick trip to loggerhead and relaxing on the beach in our tropical paradise!
the open kitchen, dining, living space allows everyone to be together in one large room Our unit sleeps six, the bed set-up lets everyone sleep in a bed - nobody has to sleep in the living room on a hideaway sofa bed.
this condo is fully stocked, just bring your swimsuit and flip flops and you are ready to relax on the beach on the lounge chairs we have provided, build a sandcastle with the beach toys we provide, take a swim in the heated complex pool then dry off with the provided beach towels, explore the island and learn the 'sanibel stoop' alert- shelling is addictive!
the lanai is the perfect location to enjoy breakfast or to unwind after a day spent exploring Just don't let the sound of the waves put you to sleep! Too much fun in the sun - relax in the living room and enjoy a movie from our DVD library or your favorite TV show on the 55" flatscreen TV or select a book from the many we offer our guests.

this is a non smoking unit; smokers are asked not to request a booking as the smoke smell on all of your personal goods will linger after you depart The smoker will be financially responsible for any additional cleaning that is required.

We have done the dolphin breakfast cruise from Ding Darling several times and the kids love it. The Sanibel Lighthouse ( lighting the path to San Carlos Bay since 1884) is a nice walk down the beach from our condo, as is the fishing pier (The pier was severely damaged by Ian and not yet rebuilt as of 05/2024). East Gulf drive has easy access to Periwinkle for shopping and restaurants and is just 5 minutes from the Causeway.
being on the second floor in our condo puts you at the treetops, above the human noise on the ground level but you are still close enough to enjoy the sounds of nature Both the beach and pool are just a minute walk from this condo.
electronics- we provide secure high speed internet/wifi for our guests There are 3 flat screen TVs with cable and a DVD player in the guest room. Need a break from electronics - we offer books and games and a chaise for napping on the lanai.
the kitchen has most everything you may need, including a crock pot so you can start dinner and head out to enjoy the day and know that you have dinner waiting for you when you return
