chart cottage dates back to the reign of queen victoria This former Headmaster’s house is a much loved holiday home with attractive Gothic style windows and a pretty fitted kitchen with Belfast sink, it’s comfortable, warm and welcoming. Accommodation is over two floors with a cosy sitting room and three first floor bedrooms (all ensuite) sleeping six guests. Outside there’s a lovely paved courtyard with table and chairs for alfresco dining.

Stroll around the independent shops, galleries and cafes, take a walk along the dramatic cliff hugging coastal path to Branscombe beach. Branscombe has a couple of good pubs and a dog-friendly beach with a great cafe serving fresh seafood. Take a fishing trip or delve into Beer Quarry Caves, just a short drive away.
