originally a traditional exmoor barn, the property has been carefully converted into a single-storey holiday cottage suitable for a couple Renovated in 2024 with new electric heating system, flooring, en-suite and kitchen, it offers well-appointed, spacious and comfortable accommodation where guests can relax and enjoy a peaceful break.
the spacious open-plan living area includes a dining table with four chairs and two sofas, smart tv, and an electric optimyst flame-effect fire Patio doors lead outside to the gravel terrace area.
the well appointed kitchen has plenty of work surfaces and includes a full size fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and electric oven plus hob Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, a variety of cookware, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. There is a washer-dryer in the utility room.
the bedroom has a king-size bed (which can be configured as single beds on request - please make a note on your booking invoice) with a newly fitted en-suite shower room, comprising shower, toilet and hand basin There is an additional WC in the utility room.

on the other side of the cottage, some steep steps lead up to a private garden (unfenced) laid to lawn with summer house, bbq and the elevation offers lovely moorland views In addition, just away from the cottage there is a communal picnic area, shared with the other properties (this area is enclosed).

access to the property itself is step-free (other than door thresholds) and internally everything is on one level However, the parking area is gravel and paths may be slippery. The private garden is accessed up steep steps with a handrail. Please also note that there is not much artificial light externally.
