Summary: This is a sanctuary, perfect for bringing in the new year mindfully and with deep introspection. Among the perks: a gorgeous sun room with heated floors overlooking a field and river, a sauna-shower and a fireplace. Also, a short drive to Great Barrington, which is a lovely town with lots of good food and shops, and a historical home of W.E.B. DuBois. The owners are kind and responsive; they live upstairs and though you can hear them walking on their first floor, it did not interfere with my serenity. I will definitely return!
