The beach community offers a community playground with basketball and tennis court, playscape and bocce lanes. This is a great area to kayak & enjoy walks along the coastline. There is also a boat launch. It is shallow at low tide, and skiffs will need to return by about mid-tide. Kayaks can get in at any low tide except around king tides. For anytime boat access there is 4 Mile River Boat Launch which is 3.3 miles away, or Niantic Bay Boat Launch which is 5.1 miles away.
