2 Bedroom Cottage in Whitland, Hebron
'Y Cartws' is a renovated outbuilding (formerly the cart-house and stables) on a sheep farm - Maesyfelin. The owners, Paul and Eirlys Williams are the 7th generation of the family to have farmed here. Y-Cartws offers the ideal base however way you wish to spend your time exploring the coast and countryside of beautiful West Wales. We are both family and pet friendly. It is a very peaceful location with wonderful views across acres of lush green grass. Y Cartws is located in a great spot for star gazing with it's wonderful dark sky's at night weather permitting of course! We are happy to let you fly your drone from our fields. During the month of March and April we have the busy time of Lambing our visitors are welcome to have a look at what's going on or give us a hand with the feeding of molly lambs if we have any! The cottage itself has a large farmhouse kitchen, a laundry room and a living room on the ground floor. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin with the option of a cot and a put up single) and a shower room, Towels are also provided. It has oil central heating throughout. WI -FI is available through out the cottage password given at arrival, we are on EE Mobile phone's and have signal on the farm. We also provide a stair gate, cot and high chair for our younger guests. Children are welcome to play in the fields as long as there are no sheep in them at the time of your stay. Plenty of parking space is available. There is a bench and table just outside the cottage, also there is a private sitting area for our guests just to the side of the cottage through to a wildflower garden overlooking the fields, relax and unwind with a beautiful view..
