Enjoy a quiet, peaceful setting with 80 feet of Lake Huron frontage - our southern facing property near Tawas Bay provides an expansive sandy beach without rocks or seawall and provides sunrise and sunset views. Our driveway ends at a dead end street ensuring privacy and quiet. Our house is near a large swath of undeveloped land so it's quite dark at night creating a mini dark park for star gazing. We have a large propane grill for use and the electric stovetop / oven works great.
2 out of 3 bedrooms have desks for remote work and our wifi is super strong There's plenty of seating for family meals and the new Anderson screened doors offer an amazing cross breeze while hanging out indoors.
our cottage is near east tawas which offers shopping, marion's ice cream (73rd year!), g's pizza, tony's tacos and more There's a farmers market every Saturday, family owned Neiman's grocery store and plenty of antique shops. Oscoda is the city north of our cabin - seek out Wellman's for amazing perch, Roger's grocery for donuts and Hilltop Bar & Grill.
