Villa Teresa is located near El Chairo in Nor Yungas, Bolivia, about 100 km from La Paz (2 hour drive) and 45 minutes from Coroico. The place is in a subtropical rain forest with nice temperatures all year round. The property has an extension of about 22000 m2. Villa Teresa is only rented to groups of 4 to 8 people and for shorter stays; two nights or more. If you want longer stays of more than one week, please consult availability.
if you want to disconnect from the world, this is the perfect place to do it In the property you will be able to cook your own food, relax at the pool, bathe in the river, walk along the property, collect fruits, sleep in a hammock and connect with nature. In addition, you will see a wide variety of insects, birds and wild animals.

The middle room has a gas tank replacement for the stove. There is a deposit to the right of the stairs that go to the pool, which is only for the use of the house guardian.
bedrooms are located in the second floor, so there are some stairs to climb up There are two rooms with a private bathroom and a queen size bed. The other two rooms have two single beds each and a shared bathroom. There is a TV, but it has no signal. The TV can only be used with the DVD for watching movies (there are some movies next to the TV). There is a stereo, with a remote control, in the second floor that plays cds. If you want to listen to mp3 cds you will have to use the small radio located in the cabinet in the first floor. There are also some board games in this cabinet. There is no wi-fi.
the closest town is el chairo, located within a 10 - 15 minute walk It has a couple of small stores with very limited and basic supplies. So, it is highly recommended that you take all your food and beverage supplies for your whole stay.

in order to get to villa teresa you will need your own vehicle (preferably a 4x4) since there is no public transportation to el chairo Your other options are, to go to Minasa Terminal and negotiate a price with a public transport in order to get to Villa Teresa or hire my services. I can take four passengers in my 4x4 station wagon, roundtrip for an extra fee.
