villa caroix is nestled in the foothills of the montgo mountain and is a tranquil place to live on the costa blanca Surrounded by stunning nature, there are many hiking trails for those who want to explore the mountain on foot, while the Montgo Natural Park is roughly a 10-minute drive away. The park is a protected reserve dotted with beautiful wildflowers and shady trees and offers a host of walking and cycling trails that the whole family can enjoy. Alternatively, pack a picnic and spend the day exploring the park's caves and spotting rabbits, lizards, and eagles. Those with a head for heights can climb to the park's summit, where you'll be rewarded with magnificent sea views, and on a clear day, you'll be able to see the island of Ibiza.
although the rugged location is wonderfully tranquil, the mediterranean shoreline is just a 15-minute drive away in javea Here you'll find sandy beaches, including the popular Playa de Arenal, where you can rent a pedalo or kayak and swim in the calm waters. Younger children will also enjoy its playground and pretty seafront promenade, where they can cool off with ice cream. For excellent snorkelling and diving, head 20 minutes south to Cala Blanca. Here you'll find a pretty cove with clear waters and a nearby chiringuito. Alternatively, head inland and discover Javea's old town brimming with beautiful architecture, arched doorways, Gothic windows, and 15th-century buildings. While here, be sure to visit Javea's museum to learn more about the town's history, then stop for a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants or bars.
