the castle of abbadia is a must visit (10 minutes)
do not miss a climb to the rhune mountain (first summit of the pyrenees chain, with exceptional views of the basque coast, landes beaches and the pyrenees) It is accessible by a number of trails or by the Petit Train de la Rhune (Sainte Ignace pass) which is 20km away.
