Set back from the road. Built circa 1750, this traditional timber-framed cottages has been carefully renovated and fitted out to a high standard to offer comfortable accommodation whilst retaining many original features such as oak beams, wattle and daub walls and a bread oven.

on the ground floor is the living/dining room Has two comfortable sofas around an open fire, perfect for cosy winter evenings. There is a dining area to one side. The small well-equipped kitchen also has a microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. There is a small worktop freezer located in the cupboard in the living room.

on the first floor, there are two bedrooms with views to the front The second bedroom which is accessed through the main bedroom has a single bed plus a pull out second bed when required both beds have sprung mattresses. Blackout blinds are fitted at the windows.
at the back is a small semi-enclosed garden set out with a garden table and chairs where you can enjoy the fabulous view over open farmland
the cottages are located in a village just outside the blyth valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty We love the slower pace of life, the relaxed atmosphere, and the great local produce.
