rosebank farm (on which valleydale is situated) was established as a dairy property in 1895 Since then the farm has had dairy, commercial orcharding, beef cattle and tourism as farming activities. Valleydale cottage was completed in 2003 as a tourism venture. The goal was to build a unique place to celebrate special events for couples, to simply take time out from busy lives and to reconnect with nature and partners.
