Positive: The room was absolutely divine. Amazing design, comfortable, huge beds, gorgeous fire place and lovely underfloor heating in the bathroom. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are exceptional, wine delicious, indoor pool and Turkish bath lovely, and the horses are wonderful. We enjoyed wishing them good morning and saying good night to them every night. Our 4 year old loved them.
Negative: I really wanted to give our stay 10/10 but the food was a bit of a disappointment. Especially at these prices and the fact there are limited options in the surrounding area, the meals didn’t live up to our expectations. Duck was chewy and lacked flavour, everything could do with more seasoning. The bathroom amenities were also a bit disappointing based on the fact everything else was exceptional. I’d have expected higher quality, natural, glass bottles shampoo etc and a better hair dryer. But I am really nit picking here!
