Also incredible hand sculpted solar sweat lodge -it only works when the sun is out , And does function with the heat of the sun. . ,large parking area, Very short private trail. .. You will have a shower, sink, toilet, hot and cold running water right outside the Tipi. Also TV, and blue ray, selection of DVDs. 2 Electric blankets. Rafting ,hiking ,fishin, Hot Springs, all minutes away up here in the Sequoia national Forest. Your host will go over important details on staying here, therefore anyone booking here must speak English.. The main house at the singing Savannah Ranch is 100 feet away..

Summary: We had an amazing stay in the handbuilt Tipi with breathtaking views of the Eastern Sierra Mountains. This artist retreat provided the perfect blend of tranquility and inspiration. The proximity to the Kern River and nearby hot springs made it an adventurer's paradise. The hot tub overlooking the mountains was a luxurious touch, creating unforgettable moments. The Tipi itself was not only comfortable but also full of all the amenities, making us feel at home in this unique gem of a location. Perfect for mountain biking, hiking, and river rafting enthusiasts. Highly recommend this haven for anyone seeking rest and the beauty of the Kern River Valley. We went with two other friends and we all slept well in this circular space. Our friends loved the visit and said- We had a relaxing time at our tipi stay high up on the hills above Bodfish. The views were a spectacular 360 degree mountain landscape, looking down on Lake Isabella in the distance. Kris was an excellent communicator and went out of his way to be accommodating and friendly. We cooked each morning and evening using the BBQ grill alongside a decorative concrete patio next to a creatively designed sauna. The tipi was comfortable and we loved sitting in the hot tub on the deck of the teepee each morning and evening. We highly recommend Kris’ tipi accommodation as a unique, peaceful experience.
