• all asymptomatic children below 12 years of age are exempted from rtpcr test to travel to a&n islands by sea/air route, • people above 12 years of age intending to travel from mainland who are not vaccinated /partially vaccinated against covid-19 will have to undertake rtpcr test in mainland within 48 hours before commencing such journey to a&n islands. they will also be tested at point of entry, • all asymptomatic passengers undertaking journey to inter island sectors are exempted from any type of covid-19 testing irrespective of their vaccination status, • all symptomatic passengers traveling from mainland or traveling to inter island sectors must undergo rtpcr testing within 48 hours of commencement of journey irrespective of their age group and vaccination status, • citizens of afghanistan, china and pakistan and foreign nationals having their origin in these countries would continue to require the restricted area permit to visit andaman & nicobar islands. in such cases, the restricted area permit (rap) would be granted only after prior approval of the ministry of home affairs. if any such national is found visiting these islands without the restricted area permit, necessary penal action would be taken under the relevant provisions of the foreigners act, 1946.please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. you can use the special requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation, guests are required to show a photo id and credit card upon check-in. please note that all special requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
