Turtle River, Kitchi and the two nearby Little and Big Rice Lakes also offer spectacular scenery, and great fishing, including walleye, northern, panfish, bass and the occasional muskie. Kitchi Lake is also part of the eight lake chain anchored by Cass Lake (a ten minute boat ride to the south) which is a favorite with muskie fishermen.
