This delightful cottage is located on a beautiful Welsh hillside with plenty of local hiking and cycling trails for you to enjoy. The scenic market town of Llandovery (7.5 miles east) provides a gateway to the stunning Cambrian Mountains, Brecon Beacons and has plenty of inns, restaurants, and shops to explore. Continue past Llandovery Castle and on 4 miles to find Myddfai, a small hamlet, that offers a popular visitors’ centre with a cafe. The vibrant and colourful town of Llandeilo is 13 miles south and offers numerous independent shops – a great place to pick up some Welsh souvenirs. Step back in time at The Dolaucothi Gold Mines, 4 miles north, before heading further north to the university town of Lampeter. Here you can learn about traditional arts and crafts such as the making of Welsh blankets and quilts.

There is a lovely king-size bedroom on the first floor with an antique wardrobe, bedside tables and a door leading to a stone staircase at the side of the property. Also on this floor is a family bathroom with shower over bath and a second twin bedroom, but this can also be set up as a super-king bed if requested on booking.
