Summary: This is a really cozy cabin in a quiet, well-located area of NY state. Close to Woodstock and Phoenicia. While staying here, we visited many places including Woodstock Brewing, Phoenicia Diner, the towns of Phoenicia and Woodstock, Emerson shops. T is a fantastic host, communicated well through the whole process (from booking to checkout), and seems really committed to making this place a great place to stay! The wood-fired hot tub and sauna were so relaxing. The sauna is a bit easier to regulate than the hot tub, so we used that more. Decor is eclectic and gives a lot to look at (a nice break from your phone)! There is a TV in the loft bedroom if you'd like to watch. We did not cook much but the kitchen seems well-appointed. You can also enjoy a nice hike down to the water, though it's quite steep so I don't recommend for anyone challenged by hills. If you're one for long hot showers, this isn't the place for you as the hot water runs for about 10 minutes. Just enjoyable enough to rinse off and get into the hot tub! This vibe is more of someone sharing their home with you than a resort-like stay. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the back-to-basics to decompress from daily life. Thanks T!
