Nestled in a serene, wooded area on one of the most beautiful islands on the West Coast, this getaway was a delightful escape, just a 20-minute ferry ride from mainland Vancouver.From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the authentic woodsy charm. The cabin featured a cozy wood fireplace, stunning A-frame windows in the bedroom, and unique wooden furniture that added to its character. We also loved the fresh eggs from the chickens on the property—such a lovely personal touch!Each evening, we enjoyed preparing delicious meals together in a well-equipped kitchen, savoring them in the warm atmosphere of the cabin. After a day of hiking, the woodfire sauna just steps from our door was a perfect way to relax and unwind.Our host was incredibly helpful, sharing local insights that led us to breathtaking trails we might have otherwise missed.
