Nestled behind the hedge above the winery, the fully renovated rustic Homestead has become a sprawling family accommodation full of character and atmosphere. With an entertainer’s kitchen opening onto the dining, living rooms and deck, the gardens are private and sunny – also suited to smaller weddings and gatherings. With two bathrooms, two queen, two double and one twin single bedroom, the house suits varied groups, sleeping ten people easily. The smaller rear two bedroom rimu-lined ‘Shearer’s Quarters’ can be rented and secured separately. Enjoy a glass of Estate Chardonnay on the sunset deck in summer, or relax inside warmed in winter with a huge logfire, enjoying a book with a glass of Clearview Estate full bodied red wine.
