built around 1885, the post office was the first building erected by settlers in the region The postmaster Nobert Desormeaux who arrived in the region in 1890 lived in the Post office for most of his life. The lake was called Lac Desormeaux from 1932 to 1957 in honor of Mr. and Mme Desormeaux.

the house resides on 75 acre of land with access to 100feet of beach at the church beach across the street. (The church is also owned by Trailside). There is also access to the public beach for individuals with mobility challenge as the trail to get to the beach is steep.

we bought this property for outdoor lovers because it was beside 10km of mountain bike and hiking trails in the middle of the laurentians There is also access to the lake with a dock to chill on. It's also 20 min from Tremblant, 30 min from Montebello and 20 Min from Ripon.
