In Summer, catch the ferry across the river to Appledore, or the golden sands and seaside amusements of Westward Ho! (5 miles). Other beaches at Croyde (15.5 miles) or Woolacombe (17.5 miles). Visit National Trust properties or RHS gardens at Rosemoor. Families love The Big Sheep (5 miles) and The Milky Way Adventure Park (12 miles).

Moving on through to the dining area where memorable mealtimes are assured, its central location chosen to take advantage of the views through the large bi-folding doors and Juliette balcony, enjoy views across to rooftops to the estuary and beyond. The kitchen area is as impressive with Dekton worktops, well equipped and fitted with quality appliances. An island unit with stools provides a less formal, more social dining space, great for conversational cooking, there is also another large sofa in this area so plenty of room for everyone.
