"Sunset Cottage" is a beautifully restored and inspirational space offering unique accommodation for the person looking for something different. In its previous life, The cottage has been a store shed, a farm shed, an office and a Tack room. NOW it offers the traveler a calm, relaxing place to stay with a high architectural design and decor. All this whilst enjoying some of the Valley's best views and gorgeous sunsets over the Yarra River.
"yarra downs" is a 200 acre commercial, working farm The farm breeds Black Angus cattle located on rich river flats along the Yarra River. Being a working farm, from time to time you may see/hear a tractor, farm vehicle etc, the cottage is naturally, a part of the farm atmosphere.
we actively work with a number of local authorities with a desire to restore and re-vegetate our property for habitat value and shelter Our location is perfect for its proximity to local wineries, music venues, wedding venues, Healesville Sanctuary, local walking and riding trails, the Yarra River.
