Stinson Beach, population 632, is bordered by a gorgeous beach and Mt Tam State Park. People flock here on weekends and holidays because it is so close yet so far from urban life. The house is up the hill “in the village". There is some kind of magic that happens up here around 10 pm - the hills absorb all sounds but the waves. The coyotes, foxes and deer take over the streets. In short – we really have the best of it all up here on the hill but we have to do our part. Most of all respect the neighbors. Hold your parties at the beach or bars. On busy days tell your friends to leave the cars where they are and walk the 0.4 miles from the beach. And then enjoy the peaceful retreat that is so close and yet so far from the holiday crowds.

A nice large hot tub is perfect for relaxing after a long hike, ride or surf, or for stargazing at night. The outdoor fire pit is around the corner and looks out on a newly planted pollinator garden surrounded by bushes and trees. The front porch has an Adirondack loveseat for enjoying the evening light on Mt. Tamalpais.
