Peaceful log cabin apartment on 8 acre property. Beautiful gardens, fall foliage, and steps away from Atkins Reservoir and Robert Frost Trails. Great area for hiking and biking! 5 minutes from Amherst College and UMass. Close to Hampshire College, Smith College, and Mount Holyoke as well.
our listing is northeast of the campuses, which is awesome for high traffic travel times Most people visiting these campuses are coming from the other directions.
even though we are within 5 minutes of the colleges and amherst center, we are nestled on the north side of mount boreas, kitty-corner to the atkins reservoir, and steps away from robert frost trails You will find yourself surrounded by quiet wilderness and only a short drive to everything else you need.
you have private access to the pool house/cozy cabin which includes entryway, main living area, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom In addition, you may use the deck around the apartment. Please enjoy the patio furniture we have provided. You will also have shared access to the pool area during the day (Last week of May through First Week of September). For safety reasons, we ask that you do not swim after dark. We may need to open the pool late or close early due to weather, schedules, etc.
the guest door is located halfway around the right side of the home (in a little alcove) This is your private entrance. You will be provided a keyless entry code before you arrive. This gives you the freedom to check in anytime between 3p and 12a and check out anytime before noon.
