the front door to our home is located up just 4 steps The ground floor has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms along with a kitchen and living room. The master bedroom is located down 4 steps to the lower level and has its own private bathroom and private entrance door on the side of the house. The backyard has a gravel path to a brick fireplace with outdoor seating.

we have a zero-tolerance policy for this We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.
we have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule

also, if you have a boat and are looking to use it on pontiac lake, there is a public boat launch at the pontiac lake rec area access off of gate road on eastern side of the lake There are over 80 parking spaces for your car and trailer there. we love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:
- no parties & no overnight guests without prior approval If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.
- respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm
- please leave your shoes at the door
- no pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies
- no smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans They get stinky.
- if you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair
- do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.
