Beaver, otters, eagles, Canadian geese, bear, quail, skunk, deer, swan, and great blue heron all make their homes in this unique environment. Occasionally we are visited by the loon, and that is a sound to remember forever.

we also have a campsite on our property, located approximately a half a mile around the lake from the barn & boathouse, which is available to rent for an addition fee It is a white canvas tent with a platform blow up bed, and a small wood stove.
public transportation
from new york city you can take a train to middletown new york, (nj transit) and then a 25 minute cab ride to our home Or, catch the bus at Port Authority which lets you off in Wurtsboro - just a 15 minute cab ride away. Schedules are New Jersey transit for the train, and Short Line for the bus.
