this former carriage building dates from the 18th century and has been tastefully restored and updated into a luxury country retreat The original features have been cleverly incorporated with the drive-in doorways now replaced with large windows flooding the property with light, and selected exposed stone walls providing a throwback to its former purpose.
the main room is a spacious l-shaped open-plan area with sofas and seating around the cosy log burner, a modern kitchen with an island and a farmhouse table for dining The kitchen includes an induction hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer, and all the cooking utensils you’ll need.
the layout of the house separates the en-suite bedrooms to provide privacy and peace The tartan-carpeted master bedroom suite is the only room upstairs. You’ll feel like the laird of the estate with a super king-sized bed and a roll top bath, in addition to the large walk-in shower. Downstairs there is one double bedroom with a king-sized bed and large window overlooking the courtyard. The third bedroom has twin beds and overlooks the garden.
outside there is ample room for off-street car parking There is a large, lawned garden with patio furniture; BBQs are available on request. We can also provide details for hiring a private chef, vehicles etc. Regretfully, dogs are not allowed.
