Summary: We have been doing vacation with kids and grandkids for over 10 years now, and this was one of the best, if not the best house, for our family. The view when you walk in the door is a knockout; we enjoyed it every waking minute. The pool is fun and situated with great visibility for parents to keep an eye on pre-teen kids swimming. The dock has great access to the water (not for swimming, but kids enjoyed walking out on it, and great for fishing for one of our party). There’s a lot for kids and adults to do in and around the house, and the Kemah Boardwalk is an easy walk away. Our only concern for coming back next year is the need for more king beds to accommodate our tall guys who are used to sharing a king sized bed. Communication with the owner and the caretaker have been great. Highly recommend.
