Carrock Lodge has 2 bedrooms - 1 double bedroom with a wash basin unit and 1 twin bedroom and each bedroom has a smart TV. There is a separate bathroom with an electric shower over the bath, w.c. and wash basin. The kitchen/lounge/diner is open plan and the kitchen is fully equipped including fridge freezer, dishwasher built in oven/hob and built in microwave and there is also a washer/dryer in the lodge. At the front of the lodge there is a south-west facing raised timber deck with outdoor furniture capturing the best of the sunshine and a garden area for guest use. The lounge has a smart television and all linen and towels are included. The Lodge is heated by electric panel heaters and the windows are double glazed. The hot tub and sauna are available for use by all guests on a pre-book basis. Parking is available outside the lodge for two cars. The lodge is non-smoking but pet friendly and can accommodate up to two dogs (small/medium) for a small additional charge. Our cottage (The Hayloft) sleeps 2-4 people and has a private hot tub so is perfect for couples looking for an escape.
there is plenty of outdoor space and each lodge has it's own fire pit which can be used for bbqs or just to sit around a warm cosy fire in the evenings while enjoying the sunset The leisure suite offers use of a six person hot tub and three person sauna for all guests in the lodges – what a way to unwind at the end of a day exploring. The local area has no shortage of activities and pastimes for all the family whether it is walking, cycling, water sports, quad-biking, shopping, cultural experiences, historical adventures or getting close to wildlife and nature. There is something for everyone of every age whatever the weather.
there is plenty of opportunity to get out and about with a dog, we are just a 15 minute walk from the river and the cumbria way from which there are lots of options for long or short walks that may incorporate a pub! we also have a fully enclosed dog exercise area on site for dogs to safely have a run around off lead while they stay with us
