Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Beautiful spacious home on lake with plenty of beds and nice linens. Well stocked kitchen. Many ceiling fans that helped us survive the A/C problems
Negative: Air conditioner upstairs could not handle the Texas heat. Temperature in the house in the afternoon til midnight was 80-85 degrees. Yes it would cool off by morning but not enjoyable at all to be sweating inside on vacation We are all from Houston and have same temperatures and our houses have a big enough A/C units to handle the heat. Called and was told units were fine and it would cool down by morning. That didn’t help us at the time. The downstairs A/C unit was cooling. We had to all go downstairs in the evenings. Master bedroom had thick dust under TV cabinet and bed. Return air vent upstairs was covered with dust which we vacuumed off hoping it would help it work better. Also, presets for the A/C were set for 85 and would come on and the house would heat up. Had to keep checking the thermostats to keep the setting at 72.
