a scenic trail for hiking is cress creek nature trail, about 15 minutes from the retreat It's in an area which has a favorite swimming area - Heise Hot Springs is built by a natural hot springs, and has 3 different pools, each with different temperatures, and a 350 ft slide in the cool pool. A new adventure is to traverse the mountain by Heise on 10 zip lines...now available for the very adventurous who like to get a birds-eye view of the area!
a golf course, plus a fun miniature golf course is at 7n ranch, bordering heise hot springs
guided trailriding catering to all skill levels is another activity just a mile further up the road from the retreat, at granite creek ranch most of the trails are on the mountains, so the scenery is awesome!
a fisherman's dream..Blue ribbon Cutthroat trout Fly Fishing on the Snake River is just 3 miles to the Conant Boat Dock and in various areas through Swan Valley. Fishing, boating and water skiing can be found at either Palisades or Ririe Reservoirs, both about 20 minutes away. Boats and trailers can be parked at Aspen Hills.

Jackson Hole is a beautiful 1 hour drive to the east from the Retreat. A new super side trip - the Yellowstone-Grand Teton Loop of 262 miles, crosses into all three states that border Yellowstone Park...a fantastic scenic drive!
