There is plenty to see and do nearby, including visiting the sandy beaches of either Instow or Westward Ho!, (both within 10 miles) the latter of which offers a fantastic two-mile-wide sandy beach, great for families and surfers. Alternatively, walk or cycle along the Tarka Trail which can be accessed via Torrington Common (under 1 mile). Other places of interest include the fishing village of Clovelly (13 miles), The Milky Way Adventure Park (12 miles) and RHS Rosemoor Gardens (1.5 miles).
