There are closer lakes to us but lake Vassiviere is one of the largest artificial lakes in France and just over 1 hour 45 drive time from Les Palennes.

rozel is a ground floor, large one bedroom disabled 'friendly' gite which also has its own private west facing furnished terrace Both these gites have stunning views and the sunsets from these terraces are simply amazing. Please note that Bonne Nuit is above Rozel and you may occasionally hear some light creaking from the old wooden beams above. This has not proved to be an issue to date.
bonne nuit is a cosy first floor one bedroom gite, it does not have its own private terrace but a short walk from the external stairs to the gite a designated area of garden is for the sole use of this gite
