there is free on street parking available directly outside the cottage
alton is a wonderful english village on the eastern slopes of the churnet valley It is a large village with a long history encompassing the Romans, Saxons and Victorians. Alton has a good selection of village shops, there is a post office, hall, churches and six pubs and restaurants.
just a few minutes walk from the cottage you will find two great places to eat and drink - the talbot and alton bridge with riverside seating you can enjoy the tranquil scenery whilst enjoying a pint of local ale or freshly made food!

please ensure you return the keys to the box and not through the letterbox as our cleaning team will require access
we ask that you vacate by 10am as the cleaner will arrive then to get the apartment ready for the next guest A surcharge of £20 will be taken from the deposit for unauthorised late checkouts. If you require a late check out please enquire if this is possible before arrival.
