just south of the shelldrake dam, this location offers an abundance of things to do: fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, off-road trail riding, biking, bird watching, fall color tours, star gazing, and sight-seeing Whitefish Point Lighthouse, Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and Bird Observatory, Taqumenon Falls and Taqumenon river mouth are a short distance away.

this cabin is located in a beautiful remote wooded area of the upper peninsula Wildlife, birds and insects are abundant. Mosquito protection is necessary various times of the year. Guests should bring mosquito spray, protective clothing and minimize opening doors.
wild blueberry plants are abundant on the property and start in late july early august No limit on how many you can pick. The Paradise area tends to get a lot of snow which translates into lots of spring melt making this ideal for blueberries. Cranberries can also be found in the Paradise area.
