our very local best: fishing in the kern river, off-road sport in the desert, shopping at the barstow outlets, gambling in rosamond, encounters with desert tortoises in their preserved habitat.. and experiencing the Wasteland Weekend annual festival in the fall...
of course, some of you will come to our area for business, as we are close to edwards afb, borax mines, and in the middle of new agricultural and green energy developments.. we even have turned one of the bedroom into a "zoom room" for those who are taking their work on the road!!
