There is great bird watching from the peaceful, always breezy, deck. Resident ducks and geese roam the yards and wild birds wade the pond catching insects and fish.
the pond is shared with neighbors, and has a walking trail and small dock for kids fishing The pond is stocked with bass, perch and catfish. We ask you to catch and release all but children are allowed to keep their catch, to eat. Please note that this is a natural area and parents should supervise children when fishing or walking.

Speedy Stop grocery is a well stocked store with produce, grocery, meat and dairy items as well as tackle. There is also a Dollar General. Several restaurants and bars scattered thru town offer quick meals and refreshments. Cathys restaurant offers the best shrimp dinner you can find anywhere.
port’o connor has a newly refurbished front beach for swimming, sunbathing and family fun There is a pier for day or night fishing. Wade fishing is available at the Little Boggy area.
we do allow dogs, they must be house trained and crate trained No animals allowed in beds or on furniture. We have gates that can be fastened on back deck to contain larger pets and hunting dogs as well as a pan for water. We have found smaller pets just go in and out through the deck rail..
