Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Rooms are clean and more or less spacious. Furniture is looking modern and contemporary, definitely feels more luxury at the first glance. Beds are very comfortable and on the firmer side, which is always important. Very nicely equipped bathroom. Modern, spacious, divided section for bath/shower and rest of the bathroom. The location is great, nearby the train station, nearby Isezaki Mall, but very calm.

Negative: While this accommodation seemed to get high ratings a few years back, it seems like it does not get the maintenance it would deserve to keep the standard - some equipment feels worn out, batteries in some equipment were drained, etc. Air conditioning was very loud and squeaky, plus blowing air directly onto the bed. We have started to use it later at night, so we did not ask for any fix, unfortunately it resulted in a very poor sleep. No other possibility to get air into the room - windows were locked. The light was very poor, combined with overall dark furniture it felt dark all the time. Since bath and shower share the tap for volume and temperature, it is harder to manipulate with it from the bath.
