We are two young and passionate people willing to share their home with travellers worldwide. You will also share the home with 2 adorable and quiet cats and a brave and friendly dog.
we named casa hera mixing our two homeland cultures & languages: casa means home in italian while hera is love in dhluo, the language of the luo people from the lake victoria region

casa hera is a swahili style independent two-storey villa, built using local materials, with its makuti roof and white-painted according to tradition and culture
we offer one spacious and sunny en-suite bedroom
all the furniture is locally handmade, in the typical funzi coastal style Quality and comfort guide us in picking the best linen and amenities just for you to unwind, relax and enjoy your time.
the house is built to be naturally ventilated and freshened by the cool ocean breeze at all times, however, each bedroom is also fitted with blackout curtains, a mosquito net and a ceiling fan for your peaceful nights
