located in goodwood (made famous by cbc hit show “schitt’s creek”,) nestled within the forest sits this private cabin as a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the urban life
set back on a private gated property, this is a cabin in the middle of the woods which is 99% protected forest where modifications and development is completely restricted It overlooks a large spring-fed pond and has open accessible grounds suitable for a picnic and sun-bathing.
surrounded by majestic trees as well as being an opportune spot for viewing wildlife which include birds, deer, otters, minks, fox, squirrels, chipmunks and of course bugs both at day and night Perfect spot for one person, couple or more to enjoy the indoors and outdoors.
also suitable for a small group no more than 6 to celebrate on special occasions such as birthdays, anniversary, etc (requires approval). No visitors are allowed for safety security and insurance reasons. This is a private property and I also reside on said property 400 feet away in a separate residence. Only the people on the reservation are allowed on the property. If you plan on having visitors please do not book.
there is a designated outdoor fire-pit to safely have a fire Guests need to bring their own firewood. A barbecue is onsite and guests need to bring their own propane tank for stays longer than 3 nights.
