The famous writer describes the view from the Tower Wing perfectly in one of his works; "A long meadow blending into the sea on the horizon." The couple adored their château and it has remained in the family ever since with a fascinating history. It's is now considered a national landmark and listed amongst France’s Patrimonie National.
