A dog is possible by arrangement if he is supervised in the garden. The separate basement (lockable connecting door in the stairwell) with sauna, ironing and storage room, laundry room with 2 washing machines and dryers and sauna shower is only rented for shared use; we also have access to the basement if we want to go to the workshop or do the laundry or go to the sauna, but we try to be discreet. A basement room is not rented (former garage, serves as storage space for summer furniture and tools).

The property is fenced with a natural fence and protected from view except from the neighboring house on the north side (very discreet, nice neighbors). In the back part of the garden and on the large south-facing terrace you are completely undisturbed by the wind that blows almost continuously from the sea (1 km as the crow flies westwards is the coast). The air often smells slightly of salt, mixed with herbal fragrance from the garden. At night you often have an almost perfect starry sky above you, with no disruptive light, except for the flashing lighthouse on Hiddensee at a distance of 5 km and in the other direction from Cape Arkona lighthouse.

We are happy to give further tips for village shops. If you want, you can get organic vegetables and other supplies from Gut Rosengarten on Thursdays.
