Positive: The pool was clean and relaxing plenty of available shaded area. The room cleaning staff was efficient and helpful.
Negative: Our friends an elderly couple none English speaking traveling with us, were given a room not acceptable to be stayed in. The house phone had buttons MISSING unable to use. the safe failed during there stay. Unable to call the reception had to walk to the reception to ask to have it repaired. The answer was that the maintenance is not available now, just sometime later. It was a working day not a weekend. They had all they belongings in the safe and unable to travel for a sightseeing tour. At a resort of this size this is unacceptable. Further the bar fridge was not cleaned on arrival and the freezer compartment was frozen up unable to be used. Breakfast was included in our package. Unfortunately this was also a bad experience. The staff (1 person) was continuously texting on her phone and not refilling the empty shelfs or milk jars. we had to specifically ask for her to refill the shelfs and milk jar. Coffee machine was not working and the apple and orange juice dispenser was always just about empty, and the croissants were frozen. I think with a little bit more attention all this could have been avoided.
Summary: Maybe the high season has just started and the staff was new but we still pay premium prices.
