The view from the front window wall and deck is the beautiful expansive northwoods and overlooks a semi-private lake that is known for northern pike and walleye as well as other warm water species of fish. If needed, heat is provided by a freestanding propane fireplace. The open great room has vaulted ceilings to compliment the cedar log wall construction. Use of boat and motor, and a canoe, are part of the package. A modern dock provides boat moorage and a relaxing place to enjoy the clear water of Porter Lake or dark skies at night for star gazing. Additional fishing and water recreation is available at nearby Cable Lake, which offers a public boat landing.
